3. Manage the six needs

Hunger, Energy, Fun, Social, Hygiene and Bladder fall as game time passes. They are separate meters. Official beginner tips highlight eating and washing before work: hunger below 20 or hygiene below 25 at shift end reduces performance (and therefore pay).

  1. Check home, wallet and all six meters before spending.
  2. Use home objects for immediate needs.
  3. Pick a job whose shift length and promotion skill you can support.
  4. Complete a shift and note actual pay.
  5. Recover, then reserve Saturday rent.

4. Work, promote, travel

Open the Jobs app on the in-game phone. Each of the 25 careers has five levels. Promotions need the career’s skill at levels 1, 3, 5 and 7 plus performance of at least 60. Travel uses trek, danfo, keke, okada, cab or your own car — each priced and timed per kilometre with go-slow built in (official homepage).

5. Vote in the governor’s race

One race per in-game week at Polling Unit 001 (Lagos Island). Get accredited, cast one ballot, polls close Sunday 8pm; winner’s policy runs the following week (wage raise, transport subsidy, food subsidy, steady light, or owambe season).
